Wounded in action and admitted to Ambulance Train, 17 August 1918 (gun shot wounds to right buttock and forearm); transferred to Casualty Clearing Station, 17 August 1918; to 5th Australian General Hospital, Rouen, 19 August 1918; to England, 22 August 1918; admitted to Royal Victoria Military Hospital, Netley, England, 23 August 1918.
