Meritorious Service Medal 'During the period from March to September, this N.C.O. was Motor Cyclist Artificer when the work of the D.R.L.S. Service was abnormally severe. It was only by his untiring efforts and unfailing devotion to duty that the Machines were kept in running order throughout these strenuous periods, this contributing largely to the efficiency of the Service during the operations of August and September.'
