Transferred to 58th Bn, 18 March 1916; taken on strength of 58th Bn, 18 March 1916.

To hospital, 29 March 1916; admitted No 4 Field Ambulance, Ferry Post, 30 March 1916, and transferred to No 1 Australian Stationary Hospital, Ismailia, the same day (sore feet); to No 8 Field Ambulance, Ferry Post, 31 March 1916 (blistered feet); discharged and rejoined 58th Bn, Ferry Post, 1 April 1916.

Embarked Alexandria to join the British Expeditionary Force, 17 June 1916; disembarked Marseilles, France, 23 June 1916.
