Military Medal

'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty at DERNANCOURT South West of ALBERT March 28th 1918. His company had suffered heavy casualties from shell fire and stretcher bearers were bringing in wounded from the open. One stretcher party was smashed up by a shell and Private Graham immediately went out and carried the wounded men in one by one to a place of comparative safety, all the while under shell and machine gunfire in daylight. He set a fine example of devotion to his comrades.'
