Statement, Red Cross File No 1220603, 1557 Sergeant A. MOORE, B Company, 31st Bn (patient, No 51 General Hospital, Etaples), 28 March 1917: 'He was killed at Fleurbaix on July 19th. in the charge. I know none of the details. His body is buried in the cemetery at Sailly. I have seen his grave with a cross on it bearing his name.'
