Military Medal 'On the 6th September, 1918, during operations East of PERONNE, during the enemy's retreat, Sergeant HAGGETT, who was acting as Platoon Sergeant, displayed fine courage and skill in leading his men forward under heavy enemy Artillery, Machine Gun and rifle fire, saving casualties and inspiring his men with the greatest confidence. Through the day he collected much valuable information, and also located several enemy Machine Gun and Sniping Posts. which were holding up the advance, and from his information these Posts were engaged by our Artillery and destroyed.
