Military Medal 'For meritorious service, during the recent operations from 8th August, 1918, to 26th August, 1918, north of SOMME to BOUCHAVESNES, these men [HAMILTON and 30701 W.R. WARREN] performed arduous and continuous work in delivering ammunition to Battery positions under heavy shell fire and bombing. Their cheerfulness and willingness set a splendid example to others, and materially assisted in the ammunition supply being kept up under trying conditions.'
