Taken on strength, Composite Light Horse Regiment, 30 November 1915; rejoined 8th Light Horse Regiment, Heliopolis, 18 January 1916; marched out to Serapeum, 26 February 1916.

Admitted to 3rd Light Horse Field Ambulance, 16 August 1916 (diarrhoea); discharged to duty, 22 August 1916.

Transferred to 3rd Signal Troop, Malha, 11 December 1916; taken on strength and appointed Driver, 18 December 1916.
