Found guilty by Field General Court Martial, 23 October 1916, of drunkenness whilst on active service, 19 October 1916: sentenced to 42 days' Field Punishment No 1; moved into 6th Detention Camp, Granville, 29 October 1916; marched into Horse Transportation Depot, Havre, 3 December 1916; moved into the field, 12 January 1917; attached to 1st Anzac Entrenchment Bn, 15 January 1917; taken on strength of 2nd ASC Company, 7 February 1917; detached to 1st Anzac Entrenchment Bn, 10 February 1917; taken on strength of 18th ASC Company, 6 March 1917.
