Proceeded to France through Southampton, 27 December 1917; marched into Australian Base Depot, 28 December 1917; moved into the field, 30 December 1917; taken on strength of 25th Bn, 4 January 1918; allotted ‘A’ suffix to serial number, 4 January 1918.
