Wounded in action, Belgium, 29 October 1917 (bullet wound, left vfoot), and admitted to 3rd Australian Field Ambulance; transferred to 47th General Hospital, Le Treport, 31 October 1917; discharged to Base Depot, 13 November 1917; rejoinewd unit, in the field, 21 November 1917.

Wounded in action (2nd occasion), 2 August 1918 (multiple shell wounds).

Died of wounds, 89th Field Ambulance, 2 August 1918.
