Admitted to No. 1 Canadian General Hospital, 28 July 1916; transferred to England, 11 August 1916, and admitted to Guildford War Hospital, 12 August 1916. Transferred to No. 1 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Harefield, 26 August 1916.

Coomenced return to Australia on board HS 'Karoola', 16 October 1916; discharged, 29 June 1917.
