Embarked Melbourne, 28 July 1916; disembarked Plymouth, England, 11 September 1916, and marched into 2nd training Bn, Perham Downs.

Proceeded overseas to France, 22 November 1916.

Admitted to 10th Field Ambulance, 3 December 1916 (bronchitis), and transferred to Divisional Rest Station; discharged to duty, 9 December 1916; rejoined Bn, in the field, 10 December 1916.

Killed in action, 15 July 1917.
