Meritorious Service Medal

'For meritorious service and devotion to duty throughout the period 25th February to 16th September 1918. W.O. HOGAN has been W.O., Pay Corps, attached 5th Australian Division during the period mentioned and has at all times carried out his duties with energy and initiative. He has been unsparing of himself in the performance of his duties for the Division often under trying and adverse conditions. His reliability in all pay matters has been of the greatest assistance to the Divisional Paymaster for whom he has acted during his absence from the Division.'
