Military Medal 'At LOUVERVAL, FRANCE, between 10th and 15th April 1917 Sgt. HOLLINGS did excellent work in salvaging ammunition and maintaing ammunition dumps under continual shell fire. On 15th April 1917 owing to casualties he carried out the duties of Regimental Sergeant Major in addition to his other duties and arranged the supply of ammunition to the front line in a most efficient manner. It was owing to his energy in salvaging and arranging ammunition dumps at suitable points that we were able to keep up the supply for the front line.'
