Admitted to 2nd Light Horse Field Ambulance, 27 August 1915 (pyrexia); transferred to HS 'Glenart Castle', 28 September 1915, and admitted to No 1 Auxiliary Hospital, Heliopolis, 4 October 1915 (debility); transferred to No 3 Convalescent Depot, Helouan, 2 November 1915 (hernia); discharged to duty, Zeitoun, 17 November 1915.

Atytached to Camel Corps as Cycle Orderly, Abbassia, 16 January 1916.

Admitted to 1st Australian Dermatological Hospital, Abbassia, 6 April 1916; discharged to duty, 20 April 1916; total period of treatment for venereal disease: 15 days.

Admitted to 1st Australian Dermatological Hospital, 3 May 1916; transferred to 2nd Australian Stationary Hospital, Tel el Kebir, 2 May 1916; discharged to duty, 12 June 1916 (non-venereal).
