Embarked Brisbane on HMAT 'Aeneas', 29 June 1915. Temporarily attached as Police to 7th Brigade Headquarters from 25th Bn, 31 March 1916. Transferred to 26th Bn from 25th Bn, 12 October 1918. Marched out to England from Australian Infantry Depot, Havre, 20 January 1919. Found guilty at Hurdcott, 8 March 1919, of conduct to the prejudice of good order in that he failed to fall in on parade after being duly warned: awarded a fine of 7 days' pay; forfeited total of 7 days' pay. Commenced return to Australia on HT 'Port Maquarie', 28 March 1919; disembarked Melbourne, 26 May 1919, for onward travel to Brisbane. Discharged Brisbane, 27 July 1919. Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal. |
