Military Medal 'On the night of the 10th August, 1918, Private JONES was running between the Brigade Forward Station at LA FLAQUE and Brigade Headquarters. Many times during the night he brought back valuable information, being obliged to use the Main Road which was being fiercely swept by machine gun and artillery fire, and frequently bombed by enemy aircraft. He set a splendid example.'
