Military Medal 'During the operations on MONT ST. QUENTIN N.E. of PERONNE, on 31st August 1918, these two soldiers went forward to form a covering party during the transfer of troops from the trench to another. They kept up fire during the operation although both were wounded. They made back to our trench when the operation was completed.'
