Military Medal 'During operations east of HAMEL at MORCOURT on 9th August, 1918, Driver KAY was driving a horse ambulance wagon. Though the road was under continuous shell fire for the greater part of his journey, he made repeated trips to the Regimental Aid Posts, ensuring the speedy evacuation of wounded from the shelled area.'
