Wounded in action, Gallipoli, 28 June 1915; admitted to HS 'Minnewaska' for Lemnos Island, 2 July 1915; proceeded to Egypt and admitted to 2nd General Hospital, Ghezireh, 5 July 1915 (fractured forearm); transferred to No 2 Convalescent Depot, Mena, 30 July 1915; to Convalescent Camp, Helouan, 5 August 1915; rejoined unit, Gallipoli, 28 August 1915.

Killed in action, 2 September 1915.
