Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry when acting as a runner during operations near ZONEBEKE on 26th September, 1917. Private KINGSLEY constantly carried messages through very heavy enemy fire, and when a linesman had become a casualty he ably assisted in repairing telephone lines and maintaining communication throughout the operations.'
