Admitted to 6th Australian Field Ambulance, 25 April 1917 (bunion); transferred to 4th General Hospital, 8 May 1917 (bronchitis); to England, 11 May 1917, and admitted to Connaught Hospital, Aldershot, 12 May 1917. Discharged to furlough, 25 May 1917, to report to No. 3 Command Depot, Hurdcott, 9 June 1917.
