Marched out to unit, 8 April 1917; taken on strength of 32nd Bn, in the field, 12 April 1917. Admitted to No 14 Australian Field Ambulance, 19 May 1918 (gassed); transferred to No 47 Casualty Clearing Station, 20 May 1918; to No 34 Ambulance Train, 22 May 1918; to No 2 Canadian General Hospital, 23 May 1918; to England, 27 May 1918; to County of Middlesex War Hospital, Napsbury, St Albans, 28 May 1918; to No 1 Auxiliary Hospital, Harefield, 4 July 1918; discharged to furlough, 6 July 1918, and to report to No 4 Command Depot, 20 July 1918. Posted absent without leave, 20 July 1917; marched into No 4 Command Depot, Hurdcott, 23 July 1918.
