Military Medal 'A stretcher bearer who was tireless in performance of his work. He moved up and down the line dressing wounds and placing the wounded in a position of safety. He made numerous trips through intense shelling and was tireless in his work. He would not rest until all the wounded in the vicinity had been carried to the Aid Post.'
