Statement, Red Cross File No 1590111, 4112 Pte J.A. FEIGAN, B Company, 60th Bn (patient, HM Queen Mary's Royal Naval Hospital, Southend, England), 27 July 1916: 'On July 19th, 1916, at Fleurbys (sic), Armentieres, I saw him killed by a Machine-gun in a charge in the middle of No Man's Land.' [It is not clear that this refers to 3866 C.W. LOCK; file bears notation 'Pte Leo, Charles'.]
