Joined 8th Bn, Gallipoli, 7 December 1915.

Disembarked Alexandria, 7 January 1916 (general Gallipoli evacuation).

Transferred to 60th Bn, 24 February 1916, and taken on strength.

Admitted to 15th Australian Field Ambulance, Tel el Kebir, 5 March 1916 (diptheria), and transferred same day to 2nd Australian Stationary Hospital, Ismailia (tonsilitis); discharged to unit, 15 March 1916, and rejoined, Tel el Kebir.

Admitted to 4th Field Ambulance, 30 March 1916 (sore feet), and transferred to 1st Australian Stationary Hospital; to 8th Field Ambulance, Ferry Post, 31 March 1916 (blistered feet); discharged to duty, 1 April 1916.

Admitted to 8th Field Ambulance, 3 May 1916 (debility); discharged to duty, 5 May 1916, and rejoined Bn, Duntroon Plateau.
