Found guilty at Codford, 3 January 1917, of overstaying leave, 1.00 am, 3 January, to 7.30 pm, 4 January 1917: awarded 1 day's detention; forfeited total of 4 days' pay. Found guilty at Codford, 22 March 1917, of being absent without leave, 9.30 pm, 11 March, to 9.00 pm, 12 March 1917: awarded 30 days' Field Punishment No 2; forfeited total of 41 days' pay. Found guilty at Codford, 12 April 1917, of (1) escaping from detention, and (2) being absent without leave, 1.00 pm, 10 April, to 9.30 pm, 11 April 1917, and (3) being in Stockton without a pass: awarded 8 days' Field Punishment No 2; forfeited total of 10 days' pay.
