Meritorious Service Medal

'For continuous good work during the period 26th March to 16th September 1918 including duty in the forward areas. He has been with the Battalion since its formation, part of the time as R.Q.M.S. and by the high sense of honour and devotion to duty which he has always displayed he has been of great assistance to the Battalion Staff, and has set a fine example to the younger non-commissioned officers.'
