War service: arrived Rabaul and taken on strength, AN&MEF, 24 June 1918. Arrived from Kokopo and transferred from 'A' to 'C' Company. Temporarily seconded for duty in Department of Director of Supplies, Rabaul, 20 September 1918. Returned to duty from secondment, and transferred from 'C' to 'A' Company, 14 November 1918; taken on strength, 17 December 1918. Struck off strength, having returned to Kokopo, 24 December 1918. Returned to Rabaul, 30 December 1918. Left Rabaul, 7 January 1919. Transferred from 'A' Company to Australian Army Medical Corps, Rabaul, 10 June 1919. Found guilty, 15 July 1919, of being abset without leave from 6 pm to 8 pm, 28 June 1919: admonished, and forfeited 2 days' pay.
