Wounded in action, 7 August 1915 (gun shot wound, knee); admitted to No 24 Casualty Clearing Station, Mudros, 23 August 1915; discharged, 25 August 1915. Disembarked Alexandria, 27 December 1915 (general Gallipoli evacuation).
