Medals |
Distinguished Conduct Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty during operations at Jisr Ed Damie and Black Hill from 30 April to 4 May 1918. Although operating under the most adverse conditions, and nearly always under a heavy machine gun and rifle fire, perfect communication between regimental headquarters and all three squadrons, also brigade headquarters, was established and maintained throughout. This excellent result was mainly due to his untiring effort, his organization and control of his men, and his resource and gallantry on all occasions.'
