'Near Le Bridoux - night 12/13 June. Pte McKissock is one of the original men of the Battalion and has been Stretcher Bearer right through. Like the rest of the party he volunteered for the raid. He has done exceptionally good work right through the Peninsula and since arriving in France, on many occasions bringing men in under heavy fire. During the raid he rendered aid to the mat-men, took an unwilling prisoner back to our lines, and then returned with Ptes Ward and Hutson, got Pte McKenzie who was seriously wounded, back to our lines.'
