Meritorious Service Medal 'For consistent good work and devotion to duty. He has very ably carried out his duties since March, 1918, with great zeal and efficiency. Throughout the many moves the Battalion has made during the heavy fighting from 8th August, 1918 to 6th October, 1918, he has never failed to maintain the supplies.'
