Military Medal 'On night 13/14th June, 1918, during an attack South of MORLANCOURT near ALBERT this man was a stretcher bearer attached to a party digging a communication trench from the front line. Private MOSS showed great gallantry in carrying wounded to safety under heavy fire, assisting men of the Infantry in addition to the Pioneers. When going forward to get the wounded he acted as guide to working parties, at the same time, setting a splendid example of coolness and determination.'
