Sick to hospital, 5 October 1916, and admitted to 26th Casualty Clearing Station; transferred to 31st General Hospital, Port Said, 7 October 1916 (tonsilitis); discharged to duty, 8 November 1916; rejoined unit, Arnussi, 23 November 1916.
