'For consistent good work and devotion to duty during the period 16th September 1918 to 11th November, 1918. During the attack on BONY he was of the utmost value to his unit, and by his cheerfulness and total disregard of danger had a great effect on his comrades. Private BISHOP has been with his unit during its existence in FRANCE, and has always done commendable work.'
