Military Medal 'On the morning of the 15th April in the vicinity of LONGATTE, the 43rd Battery was heavily shelled. Sergeant QUICK was in charge of his gun, when ti was struck by a shell, killing eight of his men and wounding several others in the vicinity. Although still under heavy shell fire and himself wounded in three places, he assisted in getting the wounded away to a place of safety.'
