Military Medal 'At Ypres on night 12/15th October Sgt. RAVELL, was in charge of the wiring party detailed to clear a track for the raiders. His quickness and initiative in doing this under heavy fire greatly assisted in the success of the operation. He was the last man of the raid into our trenches when one man was reported missing he volunteered and led a party to look for the man. Previous to this Sgt. RAVELL has done very good work.'
