Meritorious Service Medal

'For excellent and consistent work done during the period 6th to 20th February 1918 in the line at ZONNEBEKE and in particular, his bravery and devotion to duty on the night 13th/14th February, when lines to battalions in the forward area, were cut several times by hostile shelling with H.E. and Gas shells. On this night, under circumstances of great danger and intense discomfort owing to Lachrymatory Gas, Sergeant RAEBURN went out on each occasion that the lines were cut, and by repairing the lines, restored communication with most commendable promptitude.'
