Medals

Military Medal

'For gallantry and devotion to duty during the C.O., operations at PASSCHENDAELE, East of YPRES from 5th to 6th November, 1917. When his Coy. was subjected to continuous heavy shelling, L/Cpl. REEVES, totally indifferent to his own safety worked tirelessly in keeping the trenches clear and getting wounded out. As a Lewis gunner he served his own gun and kept the Coy. gunners organised in the face of almost impossible conditions.'
