Rejoined Bn, Gallipoli, from Reinforcements Camp, 30 October 1915.

Disembarked Alexandria, 28 December 1915 (general Gallipoli evacuation).

Found guilty, Tel el Kebir, 7 January 1916, of being drunk in town about 1840, 30 December 1915: fined 2/6d.

Found guilty, 8 January 1916, of being absent without leave from Tattoo, 29 December 1915, till arrested at 1840, 5 January 1916: awarded 14 days' Field Punishment No 2, and forfeited 8 days' pay by Royal Warrant.

Transferred to 53rd Bn, 13 February 1916, and taken on strength, Tel el Kebir, 14 March 1916

Found guilty, 24 February 1916, of (1) breaking Camp; (2) being absent without leave from Tattoo, 23 February, till arrested by Cairo Picquet at 2100, 19 February 1916: awarded 28 days' detention, and forfeited 28 days' pay under Royal Warrant.

Embarked Alexandria to join the British Expeditionary Force, 19 June 1916; disembarked Marseilles, France, 28 June 1916.
