Military Medal 'On the 25th September 1917, near YPRES, Bombardier ROBERTSON was in charge of a party carting Ammunition to the Battery. Two shells landed in the party, killing one man and wounding five men and five horses. This N.C.O. got his party to safety, and then through heavy shell fire got the wounded men out. he then took charge of his party, and through heavy shell fire, kept on carting ammunition until the necessary amount was at the position. he showed great initiative, and a total disregard of personal danger.'
