Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. During the attack on POLYGON WOOD on the morning of the 20th September, 1917, Sapper BOHAN on three separate occasions went through a particularly heavy enemy barrage and repaiphone wires connecting two important stations. On the third occasion he had to remain in the barrage for a considerable time while he carried out repairs.'
