War service: with Artillery Details, Maadi, Egypt, 27 December 1915. Taken on strength, 25th Howitzer Brigade, Tel-el-Kebir, 27 March 1916, and posted tp 13th Battery.

Proceeded from Alexandria to join the British Expeditionary Force, 19 June 1916; disembarked at Marseilles, France, 25 June 1916. Transferred to 13th Field Artillery Brigade, 9 July 1916.

On leave, 6-19 July 1917. Transferred to Brigade Headquarters, 15 February 1918.

Died of concussion, 3rd Stationary Hospital Rouen, 10 July 1918.
