Wounded in action (gun shot wound, right and left arm: severe); admitted to 17th General Hospital, 25 April 1915; transferred to Convalescent Camp, Mustapha, 12 May 1915; discharged to duty, 13 May 1915. Embarked Alexandria to rejoin Bn, 8 June 1915; rejoined Bn, Gallipoli, 13 June 1915. Disembarked Alexandria, 7 January 1916 (general Gallipoli evacuation).
