Wounded in action, 28 March 1918 (gun shot wound, neck), and admitted same day to 56th Casualty Clearing Station; transferred to 22nd General Hospital, Camiers, 29 March 1918; to England, 1 April 1918, and admitted same day to 1st Birmingham War Hospital; transferred to 3rd Auxiliary Hospital, Dartford, 11 April 1918; to 1st Auxiliary Hospital, Harefield, 8 May 1918.
