Admitted to 6th Australian Field Ambulance, 26 September 1917 (not yet diagnosed: NYD); transferred to New Zealand Stationary Hospital, Wisquis, 1 October 1917; to 2nd Australian General Hospital, Wimereux, 8 October 1917; to No 1 Convalescent Depot, Boulogne, 16 October 1917 (now diagnosed shell shock); discharged to Base, 3 November 1917; rejoined unit, 18 November 1917.
