Transferred by Ambulance Train, 8 June 1917, to 9th General Hospital, Rouen, 9 June 1917; to 2nd Convalescent Depot, 20 June 1917; to 11th Convalescent Depot, Buchy, 22 June 1917; to 3rd Australian Division Base Depot, Havre, 13 July 1917; rejoined unit, 4 August 1917.

Found guilty, 24 September 1917, of being absent without leave from 4 pm to 11 pm, 23 September 1917: awarded 3 days Field Punishment No. 2 and forfeited total of 4 days pay.
