Proceeded overseas to France, 8 October 1918; taken on strength, 3rd Field Artillery Brigade, 15 October 1918. Permanently detached to 1st Divisional Ammunition Column, 4 February 1919. Transferred to England (Non-Military Employment), 5 March 1919. Granted leave, 4 April-4 October 1919 with pay only, to gain further experience as fitter & turner, Caversham Motors Ltd, Caversham, Reading.
